The Left is Wrong About Everything

Not within living memory has a political party imploded on such a grand scale as today’s Democratic Party. Having blatantly stolen the 2020 election and then fumbled the presidency for a term under the puppet “leadership” of Biden, and then having lost the 2024 race in epic fashion, one could be forgiven for suspecting their demise might be intentional. Such suspicion doesn’t stand up to scrutiny. The Democrats are as power hungry and maniacal as ever, and it is that diabolical and harebrained mania which explains their ignoble implosion over the past several months.

            The American people aren’t stupid. Well, most of us aren’t. Enough Americans are sufficiently stupid to continue propping up the Democrats with their votes and donations. However, when your party platform is at odds with reality and therefore increasingly extreme, there must come a point when the growing majority says enough is enough. In a perfect world, the downfall of the Democrats would be a teachable moment for its party leadership, and there are some on the left who see the situation for exactly what it is. They are a dying breed. For the most part, the politicos and apparachiks of the left have learned nothing and thank goodness for that.

            If, well in advance of our current moment, someone were to have written a fictionalized account of our present political situation, no publishing house would have accepted it. No one would have believed that one of our two major political parties would be capable of causing such self-inflicted harm. No one would find it plausible that a once great institution of classical liberalism would be so wrong about so many things. And it’s not as though they’re wrong about merely many things, or even most things. The Democrats, the liberals, the left in general, whatever, are wrong about everything.

            These lunatics believe flooding our country with tens of millions of criminals will make us safer. In a recent conversation with someone of the liberal persuasion - a woman who wouldn’t vote for Trump with a gun to her head - I asked if she believed the United States might be better off or worse off with tens of thousands of imported murderers and rapists. She told me she would have to think about it. She, a victim of sexual assault herself, needed time to contemplate whether our nation might actually be improved by welcoming into it a host of rapists. It boggles the mind.

            This is what we’re up against, this is what we’re dealing with. We’re dealing with people who openly support terrorists in Gaza and publicly clamor for the genocide of six million Jews (where have we heard this before?) and yet they call members of MAGA nazis. They scream for us to “accept the science” and in the next breath they reject the science that clearly shows life begins at conception. They decry the tyranny of Donald Trump yet reject the rationale of the Second Amendment. They claim to be champions of the oppressed and the poor yet every policy they espouse has led to the crushing poverty of every major city in the country, places like Baltimore, Detroit, New Orleans, Los Angeles, etc. Every major poverty and crime center is a bubbling petri dish of progressive policy and has been, in some cases, for generations, if not for well over a century.

            They believed attacking Iran would send oil prices climbing and would drive us into WWIII. None of that happened. They believed Trump would crash the economy. He hasn’t (as I write this at 10:45am July 1st 2025, the Dow is up .53%). They said the trade wars would alienate us on the world stage. None of that has come to pass. They encouraged NATO member states to flout his dictates. NATO is now paying more than ever at his behest. They claim he’s stripping disadvantaged minorities of their rights. They haven’t lost a damn thing. Every single prediction they have ever made of his downfall has failed miserably.

            It is not possible to reason with an unreasonable person, especially when their ideology is indistinguishable from malignant narcissism. We cannot have a rational conversation with people who think men can get pregnant, women have penises, and that we should chemically castrate little boys. This is what we’re dealing with. We are dealing with lunatics. We are dealing with people who butcher their own young and worship death. These are godless heathens who celebrate hedonism and who hate their own country because their pinko professors told them to.

            So, what can we do? We can’t talk with them, but we can let them talk. Never interrupt your enemy when they’re destroying themselves. Let them go as far to the left as they can. We should be encouraging them. The more exposure they give themselves to the decent and reasonable American voting public, the better. They did it to themselves in the run up to November of 2024 and they haven’t stopped since and bless their hearts for that. God knows how long it will take for us to be rid of them and their filth and idiocy and insanity. Their day of reckoning may take years to fully unfold.
